In the fall of 2011, I raised over $5,000 through Kickstarter and in 2012 I received a $3,000 grant from the Maryland State Arts Council to photograph ten main streets in Baltimore: Howard, Eutaw, Fayette, Baltimore, Lexington, Pennsylvania, Greenmount, North, Broadway, and Monument. My photography is meant to leave you not only with a sense of the condition of our cities, but also a feeling of urgency to see that they are improved and preserved and that the rich history behind the architecture and the community is not lost, but rather embraced.
